Thank you!

Not nearly an adequate phrase to properly communicate just how grate=
ful we are for the generosity of our passengers. This year’s Toys for Tot=
s yielded thousands of presents to be given to area children this holiday=
season that may not have otherwise gotten anything fun to play with.

=

Additional=
ly, thanks to you, we collected a total of $15,297.60 in cash, checks and=
gift cards onboard each morning train on Wednesday, December 5th for the=
Toys for Tots program.

While this is a major accomplishment, we’d like to recog=
nize the winners of the donations by line and train contest*:

Award for line =
with highest total donation:

FREDERICKSBURG LINE – $7801.25 total

First place fo=
r highest total donation by train:

Manassas 328 – $2984.50

Second place for high=
est total donation by train:

Fredericksburg 306 – $2636.95

 *contest does not =
exist and prizes are intangible feelings of=20
satisfaction and joy- neither of which are transferable or redeemable for=
cash.

Toys stacked to the to=
ps of the seats at the close of VRE’s annual Santa Trains.
